The High Five Campaign

AVATAR relies on competitive research funding from government and charitable organizations, as well as donations from individuals and industry. We receive no recurrent funding from any source.

Your donation will help fund vascular access research and education in any or all of these areas:

Dressing and Securement
Flushing and Blood Sampling
Infection Prevention and Microbiology
Devices and Therapy
Education and Evidence Based Practice

Donations add up to significant support funding specific research projects as well as providing scholarships or fellowships, and supporting infrastructure. Your generosity will contribute to building a global registry for intravascular device data collection, registry manager and research assistant salaries, statistical support, development of clinical guidelines, webinars and education fact sheets for patients and clinicians, Open Access publishing fees, conference attendance, administration and ongoing costs.

In return for your support, you receive recognition on this website, and in AVATAR publications and presentations. Industry or individual sponsored scholarships for health professional education are encouraged.
Please consider donating today.

Together, we can make vascular access complications history!
